near Caldbeck (NY 318 375)

DIRECTION:
A fold with four massive foundation boulders echoing the structure of a nearby building. From the hamlet of Nether Row, between Hesket and Caldbeck, follow the signs to Potts Gill. About half mile along this fell road, the fold is on the left just before entering the farmyard. The track is part of the Cumbrian Way.
